The UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know GOD and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expend concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. This purpose includes Missions for Women, Children, and the Poor, at home and around the world.
Everyone is Welcome. You do not have to be a member of the Methodist Church to be a UMW member. Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at Christ United Methodist Church (see schedule below). Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
The United Methodist Women have resumed their meetings on the second Wednesday of the month. This year, we are trying something new -- rather than meeting in January and February, we will be meeting in July and August. All women are invited and encouraged to attend our meetings.
FESTIVAL OF SHARING KITS
The United Methodist Women are again collecting items for the Baby, Health and Shool Kits for the Festival of Sharing. Each kit contains the following:
