Leonard and Maggie Davis Scholarship
Leonard and Maggie Davis were long time members of Christ United Methodist Church in Portage Ohio . They recruited many members to become active in the church and we're friends with everyone in the church. They were both active in The community and church activities and everyone learned and benefitted from their knowledge and positive attitude. Upon their passing they provided the church with a financial contribution to be used for scholarships. The church has been able to be part of the toledo community foundation and set up a yearly scholarship using guidelines essential to the church family. These guidelines include activity in the church, financial need, community volunteer involvement, indicators of successful future goals in the future. priority is given to youth who have a 43451 zip code, however, other zip codes are recognized and can apply.
West Ohio Conference Scholarship Programs
Based on available funds, the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church supervises three scholarship opportunities for undergraduates attending United Methodist institutions of higher learning. Please see Pastor Mo for additional information.
