The idea behind the sugar cube project was to design a desert shelter for a man and his dog. Without creating a roof or igloo-like structure we had to design a shelter that would protect the client from the sun and wind. In order to complete this project we had to first understand how the angle of the sun and direct of the wind differs between the seasons. |
