Here we are at our Maderas motel (right). I don't know why we bothered to wash our bikes. They would be dirty again in a couple of hours.
That's the Huapoca suspension bridge below. It's about 30 miles west of
Maderas. We had planned to cross it, but a lumber truck blocked our way.
Its load was piled too high to make it through, despite heroic efforts
by the driver to saw away parts of the top logs.
