Creel

Creel is at the top of the Sierra Tarahumara canyon country, altitude 2330 meters (7640 feet). The Chihuahua al Pacifico railroad stops here. It is the jumping off point for many tours.

We stayed in the two-story building on the other side of the tracks--La Pocada de Creel. We got in late, and we were freezing. We slept like logs.
