BGHS Band Trip - Edinburgh, Scotland

Trip Schedule

  Morning & Afternoon Evening
Wednesday,
March 23th 		Depart Bowling Green  
Thursday,
March 24th 		Arrive in London.
Transfer by air to Edinburgh.
On arrival, transfer to hotel. 		6:00pm Dinner in hotel.

Evening at leisure.
Friday,
March 25th 		7:30am Breakfast in hotel.

9:00am Depart by coach for Holyrood, for a guided walking tour of Edinburgh, including entrance to Edinburgh Castle.

Afternoon at leisure.

6:00pm Dinner in hotel.

7:00pm Depart by coach to theater for "Boogie Nights II".

Saturday,
March 26th 		7:00am Breakfast in hotel.

8:00pm Depart on a full day tour of Loch Lomond, the Troussachs and Stirling,  including a one hour cruise on Loch Lomond and entrance to Stirling Castle.

6:00pm Dinner in hotel.

7:30pm Depart by shuttle coach for the Royal Mile, to meet guides for one of Edinburgh's famous Ghost Tours.

 

Sunday,
March 27th 		8:00am Breakfast in hotel.

Morning at leisure.

12:00pm Depart by coach for the assembly.

1:00pm The Easter Cavalcade begins in Princess Street, followed by performances in Princes Street Gardens.  Return by coach.

5:30pm Dinner in hotel.

This evening will include a group activity.

 

Monday,
March 28th 		7:30am Breakfast in hotel.

9:00am Depart on a half day coach tour of Edinburgh, including entrance to the Royal Yacht Britannia and Holyroodhouse Palace.

Afternoon at leisure.

6:00pm Dinner in hotel.

Evening at leisure.

 

Tuesday,
March 29th 		7:30am Breakfast in hotel.

Independent day of sightseeing and shopping, with timed entrance tickets to The Real Mary King's Close.

 6:30pm Depart hotel by coach to take part in a Scottish Ceilidh, including a four course banquet and traditional Scottish entertainment.
Wednesday,
March 30th 		Breakfast in hotel.

Depart for home.
