Special Thank You
To each of you that helped in some special way to prepare for or get
our band students to Districts this past weekend, the Band Board would
like to express our appreciation for your efforts. A special thanks
goes out to our parents who were either early risers on Saturday or
stayed late on Friday to chaperone the band students and to those
parents who spent the first part of their weekend appreciating the
talent of their son or daughter’s band while they performed for the
adjudicators. What a wonderful Band Family we have.
Krogers/Meijer Update
The Krogers/Meijer fundraiser is still doing very well. Please
continue to use your Krogers gift cards for all your everyday and
Easter shopping needs. For the families of graduates, Krogers can
help with the big party plans as well as your future shopping needs
after graduation. With the continued use of your Krogers BGHS Band
gift card, the giving doesn’t have to stop after graduation. Krogers
will continue to contribute 5% of the amount you put on the card for
as long as you use the card. Why not give your son or daughter their
first grocery trip on mom or dad? Send them off to college with a
charged up Kroger gift card. It will benefit them as well as the Band.
Meijer applications are also still available for those of you that like
to shop there. Please remember to have the cashier scan your Rewards
card at the time of checkout. The Band receives funds from Meijer based
on purchases made using the Band Rewards account number. If you would
like a Krogers Gift card or a Meijer application, please contact Anne
Deutschman at 419-354-3014 or at jakgs@dacor.net.
Thank you!

Special Notice about Friday and Saturday
Districts
We would like to make a special appeal to families and friends of the Bobcat
Bands to attend performances this weekend at Sylvania Southview. (Maps and
directions available from BGHS Bands at the HS.)
There is such a 'warm feeling' when the hometown fans are there to encourage
and give comfort to those "onstage", who are putting it on the line for their
home school and community.
Please, consider attending. Soon, you will find itineraries for each HS group
posted on the Band Website.
AGAIN, THANKS!
Thom & Karen
