Bobcat Band Notes February 2008 Vol 11, No 8 The following is a collection of e-mail and other notices sent out during the month of February, 2008.   Date Sent: February 27, 2008  Subject: BGHS Band News - Mid-Winter Concert  Bowling Green HS Bobcat Bands Update:  Mid Winter Concert Sunday, March 2, 2008 7:00 PM – Kobacker Hall, BGSU CMA Doors will open at 6:30 PM The program will last approx. 1.5 hours $ Admission:   Free-will Donation       Rehearsal Schedule for Sunday 3.2.08: Percussion Set-up       1:15 PM Symphonic Band          2:15 – 4:00 PM Concert Band               3:45 – 5:30 PM Freshman Band            5:15 – 6:30 PM       IMPORTANT! Contingency Plans for Foul Weather If the regular school schedule for Friday, February 29, 2008 is DELAYED or CANCELLED,   the Mid-Winter Concert will be POSTPONED and rescheduled for March 9, 2008 (one week later), same time schedule for performance and rehearsals.         District Band Adjudicated Event Schedule Bobcat Bands are scheduled to perform at Sylvania Southview on Saturday, March 15, 2008   Ø      Concert Band                 9:00 AM Ø      Symphonic Band          11:40 AM Ø      Freshman Band              2:45 PM     Date Sent: February 27, 2008  Subject: BGHS Band News - Banquet Planning Meeting  Annual Band Banquet Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th @ 7pm Please join us at a meeting to help plan the Annual Band Banquet which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th at the high school. We will be meeting at WBGU-TV located at 245 Troup St. in Bowling Green. The meeting will begin at 7pm. If you have any questions, please contact Denise Kisabeth @ 419-354-0804.   Date Sent: February 14, 2008  Subject: BGHS Band News - Band Banquet Meeting  Annual Banquet meeting Monday, Feb. 18th The band banquet is just around the corner and we will be having our first meeting on Monday evening, February 18th at 7pm at WBGU-TV located at 245 Troup Street by the university. We will be meeting in the conference room just off the lobby.
