Band News - Band Banquet Volunteers Needed |
Band Banquet Volunteers Needed
The annual band banquet is Thursday, May 26th in the gym at the high school. This
is a wonderful evening for all band members and families when we honor the seniors
and all members get annual awards, etc.
The band is responsible for setting up the room which includes tables and chairs,
including table covers, for over 400 people, risers where the seniors sit, as well
as a very large curtain backdrop. We can get in the room at 2:30pm and we need help
from band families to help set up and tear down.
If you are able to help please email Scott Kisabeth at

call 419-354-0804. Please let him know when you are able to arrive to help set-up.
Ideally we are looking for people at 2:30pm, but if you can't come until a bit later,
there is much to do. We need several people to get everything done in three hours.
We are asking for as many people as possible to stay after the banquet to help tear
down. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Kisabeth.

Post-Trip Meeting |
Post Scotland Trip Meeting
There will be a Port-Trip meeting open to all Scotland Trip participants on
Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 8:00pm at the High School. We will
discuss and document what worked and what didn't so that we can do even better
(if possible) the next time.

A CALL FOR PHOTOS! |
A CALL FOR PHOTOS!
The Band Banquet Committee is searching for good quality photos from
band events throughout this school year. Photos taken at band camp,
parades, football games, Parent Night, Defiance, trips, concerts,
practice, or any other band activity are needed for the Year in
Review presentation at the Band Banquet on May 26th.
PRINTS:
Pictures may be submitted as prints and should be a minimum of 3x5.
Please submit your printed pictures in an envelope. On the envelope,
write the student's first and last name as you want it to appear in
the presentation and the event where the photo was taken. Also write
your student's name on the back of any picture submitted (just in
case they get out of their envelope!) Printed pictures will be
returned to you at the band banquet.
EMail or CD:
Pictures may also be submitted electronically. E-pictures are
preferred and should be in .jpeg format (minimum 800 x 600
pixels). You can burn e-pictures to a CD or send smaller quantities
via Email (up to 4 MB - WinZip supported). Please clearly identify
electronic pictures with the student's first and last name along with
the event where photo was taken. Electronic pictures will not be
returned.
All pictures must be submitted to Steve Eyer no later than Monday,
May 9.
Short videos may also be acceptable; contact Steve for specific
instructions.

The Bobcat Band newsletter (Band Notes) is no longer being published
in hardcopy format and sent regular mail. The newsletter will, however,
continue to be published on the web site and sent out via email. To
receive an email copy of the newsletter it is important that we have
your current email address on file.
