Bobcats in Paris
In December of 2000 the BGHS Bobcat Marching Band traveled to Paris, France to march in the
2001 New Year's Day parade. Photos were sent home on a daily (or should I say nightly)
basis and posted on the web site for the enjoyment of family members, relatives and friends
here at home.

Most of the photos were taken and sent back while the band was in Paris, but quite a

The band is back home safe and sound. Stop back to see more photos as they come in

Paris Trip Schedule
Thursday,
Dec. 28th
|
Arrive in Paris.
Orientation Meeting.
|
Friday,
Dec. 29th
|
Full day of sightseeing, including a four hour guided coach tour of Paris
and a visit to Versailles with a guided walk through the Royal Palace.
The Jazz Band performs at the Hotel DeVille.

Saturday,
Dec. 30th
|
Free day. Independent sightseeing and shopping. Everyone will
receive a day pass for the Metro and a "Carte Musee" which gives you free entrance
to any museum in Paris.

Sunday,
Dec. 31st
|
(morning)
Depart for the beautiful town of Chantilly, famous for horse racing,
lace making, cream and it's beautiful Chateau.
(afternoon)
March in La Parade De Chantilly
Followed by concert in the Chateau.
(evening)
Return to Paris.
Enjoy a New Year's Eve Pizza Party in the hotel.

March in La Grande Parade De Paris
(evening)
Enjoy a Gala Evening with a traditional French dinner at a local restaurant
followed by a cruise along the River Seine.

Tuesday,
Jan. 2nd
|
Free day. Independent sightseeing and shopping. Everyone will
receive a day pass for the Metro and a "Carte Musee" which gives you free entrance
to any museum in Paris.
Note: Each group will be assigned a time for visiting the
Eiffel Tower.

Wednesday,
Jan. 3rd
|
Depart for home.
