There are some of you who have mentioned that you know of other band parents who are feeling uninformed because they aren't getting their calendars, band newsletters or the Moor News.  If you happen to be talking to such an individual, please let them know that most correspondence is now available only via the internet unless special arrangements have been made.

Once the information is posted on the band's website, it is assumed that it is being read by all band participants and each student is responsible for knowing the details.  When new information is added to the website, each band member will be contacted via email, provided we've been given an email address.  If you know of someone who doesn't have access to the internet, please tell them to contact Mr. Headley to make special arrangements. 

Most of you are probably familiar with the Bobcat Band Coupon Books which the band has been selling for the past several years.  These books have a variety of buy 1, get one free offers for local food or entertainment establishments.  Typically the profits from these sales go into the band's general fund, but this year, in an effort to provide the students with a successful trip fundraiser, the funds will be distributed a little differently.  Individual trip accounts will be credited as follows:
