Subject: BGHS Band News - Band Banquet Meeting

BAND BANQUET MEETING TO FINISH LAST MINUTE ITEMS

We will be meeting on Monday, April 28th at 6:30pm to deal with last minute items related to the Annual Band Banquet.

We still need several people to help with set-up and tear down on Tuesday, May 6th. Please contact Denise if you can help with this 419-354-0804 or dkisabeth@wbgu.bgsu.edu.

Subject: BGHS Band News - Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show

The plans are well under-way for the first ever Bobcat Band Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show. This is a fund-raiser for the trip to Boston.

The show will be Saturday, June 28th from 9-3 in the High School parking lot.

We need volunteers for all of the following areas:

Soliciting donations NOW - talking to area businesses for donations (money or products, prizes)

Donation of refreshments/food - a complete list of needed items will be available early June example: hot dogs, buns, small bags of chips, pop, bottled water

Workers on the day (you can work all day, or you can work in shifts)

Car parkers

Food servers

General direction of traffic

50/50 sellers (anybody have rolls of tickets you'd like to donate?)

Band members to "vote" on cars/trucks/motorcycles and help present awards

Credit will be given to individual band member's trip accounts, who do participate and help.

This will be a really fun event, and not very hard work. Please call to volunteer or donate.

Subject: BGHS Band News - Mudhens Fundraiser

Hello Everyone Summer is coming! yea!

I am in need of people to sign up for the MudHens Concession games in order for Bowling Green Band to continue. The response is a little light and I am getting concerned. (Thank You to all who have responded.) I need 18-22 people for each game listed. We have great parent/students with the band and I know we can do this! This is such a such a great opportunity and typically there is a waiting list to work in concessions, but since I have worked with them in the past (different program) I was able to get us in! And believe it or not, it is alot of fun!

Subject: BGHS Band News - Band Banquet and Mudhens Update

PICTURES NEEDED FOR BAND BANQUET

For the past several years, there has been a power point presentation made
to highlight the band year. We are trying to make that happen again this
year but need your assistance.

We are looking for any pictures taken at band events during this past

MUD HENS FUNDRAISER

Recently, Wendy sent dates for the Mud Hens fundraiser to help defray
costs of the upcoming band trip. Please sign up early and often :) You

NEED HELP THE EVENING OF THE BAND BANQUET

We still need help the evening of the band banquet with set-up, hosting
and tear down. Contact Denise Kisabeth if you are able to help.

SENIORS HAVE UNTIL THIS WEEKEND TO TURN IN SURVEYS AND PICTURES

Seniors need to turn in their survey and pictures before the weekend is
over! Drop them off to Denise Kisabeth...

Hello Everyone

Here are the following dates for Mudhen Games- I picked what the majority marked and requested.

Saturday May 3rd- 7:00pm
Wednesday May 7th-6:30pm
Wednesday May 28th-6:30pm
Saturday June 7th-7:00pm
Sunday June 8th-6:30pm
Wednesday June 11th-7:00pm
Friday June 13th -7:00pm
Friday June 29th-6:30pm
Saturday July 5th-7:00pm
Sunday July 6th -6:30pm
Wednesday July 9th-7:00pm
Sunday July 27th-6:30pm
Wednesday July 30th -7:00pm

There are some guidelines:
1. Once you sign up-IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE IT COVERED.
2.When you sign up- please let me know how many are working that are over and under 19.
3.Arrival time to work concessions are 1 hour before gates open to park.
( 7:00 game- I would recommend 5:30)
4.Your Appearance will require you to wear khaki pants,capris, or shorts, tennis shoes (no open toe), a red, white, or blue shirt with sleeves. Hats can be worn but it has to be a Mud Hens hat.
5.You may view Guideline for the Park/concessions at V/Gladieux Enterprises, Inc.
6. LETS GO BG BAND!!!!!!!!
