Bobcat Band News -- Little Caesar Pizza Kit Sales |
Reminder to all Bobcat pizza fans:
PIZZA KITS will be at BGHS on Tuesday January 30th. They MUST be picked up between 2:45-5:45 on this date in the band room. The kits need to be distributed or refrigerated by 6:30pm.
The top seller prizes will be announced and awarded during band classes later this week. THANK-YOU to all who participated and help us to raise $1500.

Chaperones Needed
The annual winter time Band Party will be held on Friday, February 2 from 7:00-11:00pm in
the Band Room. 20 Chaperones are needed.
If you can cover a 2 hour slot (or want to help for the entire evening) please contact Angie
Foster at 419-686-1962 OR 419-494-1179 OR you can email her at
afoster.five@gmail.com. This
is a laid back type of party - food and games and a time for the Band students to just hang
out and have some social time without rehearsal. You do not have to have chaperoned previously
to help out!!
Annual Band Banquet Planning Meeting
Mark your calendars for this year's annual band banquet - Thursday, May 3rd.
There will be a planning meeting on Monday, February 5th at 7:00pm to discuss the upcoming
band banquet. The meeting will be held at WBGU-TV on Troup Street. A theme will be discussed,
as well as other banquet details. Angie and Ken Foster will be doing the traditional power
point presentation and Martha Everett has agreed to create the senior memory book which each
senior has received at the last three banquets.
We are in great need of pictures for the power point presentation. If you have any to share,

Little Caesars Pizza Kits
JUST A REMINDER: Little Caesars order forms and money needs to be turned in on Monday
January 22 or Tuesday January 23 from 7:30-8:00am by the band room. Please remember to
put the student’s phone number on the order form in case we need to contact them.
PICK UP will be January 30th from 2:45-5:45 pm in the band room. Orders must be delivered
or refrigerated by 6:30 pm that night.
We could still use some parent help on the 30th to help distribute orders. If you are
available any hours between 1:30 to 5:45 please contact Cathy or Tim Myers, 419-352-5390.

Bobcat Band News - Happy New Year! |
Winter Concert
The annual Winter Concert is this Sunday, January 7, 2007 starting at 3:00pm at Kobacker Hall.
Grades 5 & 6 will perform in addition to all three High School Bands. Be there!!!
Little Caesar Pizza Kits
Greetings to Bobcat Band families. The band is starting off the New Year with the "Winter"
concert and Little Caesars Pizza sales, to be delivered in time for the Super Bowl February 4th.
Information packets and sales flyers will be available for pick up after the concert on Sunday
- please stop by the front table to get yours. The band makes $5.00 for every kit sold and these
funds help support the general band fund which pays for student awards, uniform cleaning and new
instruments. The top three sellers will receive great prizes as well.
Parent volunteers are needed to help tally orders and collect money on January 22-23rd from
7:30am to 8:00am each day. Volunteers are also needed to help unload and sort orders between
1:30-5:30 on January 30th. Please contact Cathy or Tim Myers at 419-352-5390 or

Formal Wear
I am in need of some parents who can help on Sunday with the Formal Wear. Basically it is being
stationed around Kobacker and being available to help as the students get dressed and then after
the concert to get all the pieces/bags back on onto the racks. If you are willing, please send me
an email (Rweverett@aol.com) or call at 419-354-0224. This will be done in shifts so no one
misses their student's concert. Thanks in advance!!!!
