BGHS Band News |
Freshman Parent Meeting
Attention all Freshmen and New Student Parents! We will host an
informational/orientation meeting for all new families on MONDAY, August 7 in
the BGHS Library. After you drop off your student for the 6:00PM rehearsal,
come on down to the BGHS library, where we will start our meeting at 6:15.
Mrs. Smith will present calendar, handbook and rehearsal information.
Representatives from the Band Boosters will discuss uniforms, Booster committees
and fund raising.
It’s Almost Time for Pancakes!
The annual Chris Cakes pancake breakfast is coming to BGHS August 19th and 20th from
8:00am to 12:00pm. We are in need to 10 student volunteers each day to serve food and
do clean up as well as 2-4 adult volunteers to help sell tickets and collect money.
Each day will have two shifts; one from 7:30am to 10:00am and the other from 10:00am
to 12:30pm. Please contact Tim or Cathy Myers at
tcmyers@dacor.net or 419-352-5390 to sign up
for a volunteer time. As a bonus each volunteer gets a free breakfast!
Please plan to come "catch your pancakes" and support this band fundraiser.

The Bobcat Band newsletter (Band Notes) is no longer being published
in hardcopy format and sent regular mail. The newsletter will, however,
continue to be published on the web site and sent out via email. To
receive an email copy of the newsletter it is important that we have
your current email address on file.
